Testimonials

Steve spent a day and a half upgrading and relaying new wires to install a new cooker. Also installing new extractor fan in bathroom. He did a fantastic job and left all work areas exceptionally clean and tidy. Very pleased with his work and would most definitely use him again.

Steven has been our chosen electrician for many years due to his meticulous approach. He’s helped us with small jobs, full house electrical surveys and recently rewired our refurbished kitchen and large extension with all sorts of upgrades such as downlights and mood lighting. He also replaced the fuse box and ensured our newly built extension met standards with hardwired smoke and heat detection systems. We are always happy to follow Steven’s recommendations as we know safety and quality are at the forefront of his projects. Highly recommended!!

We have used Mr Lake for our electrical work on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. He is very professional, honest and trustworthy. He attends very promptly and when he says he will. Many thanks

Steve has been our 'go to' electrician for as long as I can remember. He is prompt, thorough and highly skilled at solving any problem we throw at him. I can't recommend him enough.

Impeccable.
Steve completed a full electrical installation for our family kitchen extension, plus a bathroom to bedroom conversion and a bathroom installation.
He had a calm, assured approach to his work, and completed all jobs with care -always leaving a tidy finish.
Reliable and friendly, we'd definitely hire Steve again for future projects and would recommend his service to others.

I've used many electricians over the years and I have to say Steve is one of the very best. Conscientious, meticulous, punctual, reliable. I could go on. Highly recommended

The last 2 days we have had Steve installing an extractor fan and doing other sundrie electrical fixes around the house. We came across Steve whilst out walking, noticing his board outside another customers. Having read reviews we contacted him for a quote. The quotes arrived quickly and were reasonable. On taking the work up Steve negotiated arrival times and was prompt to attend. He was late by 15 minutes the next day but text us beforehand so we knew of the delay to keep us in the loop. Steve was really friendly but above all very skilled. He was at ease in conversation but would also just get on with the job. There were large periods where we did not even know he was there. If anything came up that was a problem, he would explain the issues, explain the options and go on your advice. These explanations were straightforward as well which was very handy. The workmanship was top notch and the house was as he found it with all rubbish etc cleared up. I would highly recommend Steve for anything household electrical. So much so in fact we have already asked him for a quote for more work.

I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterward. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure I was completely satisfied before finishing up. It’s such a relief to find a reliable and trustworthy electrician — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing excellent electrical work done.

I recently had an extension, that has given me a utility room, lounge, hall stairs and landing and master bedroom with ensuite and dressing room, at my property and Steve carried out all electrical works working around and in conjunction with other trades in an efficient and timely manner, and provided safety and compliance certificates for all work carried out.
Steve is extremely knowledgable and left no stone unturned, his work is exceptional and I would fully recommend his services.

I have used Steve for many years, both commercially and privately. His work is second to none and I have no issues referring him to my friends and family. His work is always completed to a high standard and he is 100% reliable. Communication is great at all times and everything he has done for me has been perfect and tidy. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.
